- The album presents national costumes of five ethnic regions of Lithuania, designed after the clothing of Lithuanian peasants worn in the 19th century. Historical costumes were reconstructed by copying the surviving authentic folk clothing, on the basis of various iconographic and written sources, as well as the latest work by folk costume researchers. Some details, no longer existing yet known from descriptions and drawings, were also reconstructed.
