- Bronuis Kutavicius was born in 1932. He belongs to the second half of the twentieth century, and synthesises old Lithuanian folkloric traditions ad the newer sounds of today's musical world in a way wich is all his own. At different times, various have benn emphesised: a new idiom of expression, theatricality, the bond with the culture's history, the fine dramatist's talend, the distinctive style.
