- This new book by Aino Praakli, contains 83 colourful sock patterns. Actually, this book includes over one hundred pairs of socks, because several knitters have used both near-original and modified versions of the ornaments found in the rich collection of the Estonian National Museum. Tje socks heve been embellished with mitten patterns and sock patterns. Historical information about these patterns originates from the ENM. Aino Praakli is the carrier and promoter of the tradition of ethnographic mitten and sock patterns.
