- An organ music concert in the Dom Church, Riga
Talivaldis Deksnis - organ, Dita Kalnina - soprano, Juris Adamsons - baritone, Janis Bulavs - violin
Chamber Choir AVE SOL, conductor Imants Kokars.
Many of the composer's works have only recently found their way to Latvia and are largely unknown. They were carefully collected in Canada by Alfons Kalns, a close friend of the Kalnins family, who recently brought this valuable musical heritage to Latvia. Material for the memorial concert was selected by the programme's artistic director Imants Kokars.
