- Some people pronounce the name of this city with boredom, scepticism, and irony; others - with the deepest respect, faith, love, and hope. In this video director Arvydas Barysas does not enter into polemics with either side. To him, Kaunas has a tale to tell. His camera moves through the epochs from the historical past to the modern day. The author's poetic and elated approach to the eternal values turns our attention towards urban monuments, make us raise our eyes to frescoes, elements of interior decor, and masterpieces of art created by world famous artists. The viewer comes to understand their true worth by relating them with the eternal source of universal energy that nurtures the human spirit.
