- Margarita Voites is a legendary coloratura soprano and the primadonna assoluta of the Estonian Opera. The career of Estonia's most famosu coloratura soprano began in her hometown of Tartu in 1964 at Estonia's oldest theatre Vanemuine. There she attracted attention with her first brilliant roles: Violetta (Verdi’s La Traviata), Gilda (Verdi’s Rigoletto) and Marguerite (Gounod’s Faust).
- Ave Maria, initailly a Roman-Catholic prayer, has offered inspiration to many artists and composers over the centures. These prayers in song are also some of Margarita Voiletes's favourities and she has sung many of them in Estonia's oldest churches over the past few years.
